An incredibly rare model that is no longer part of the current Rickenbacker range and is even harder to find in this rare version with an oiled Walnut Body, 24 Karat Gold plated hardware, and maple neck. The guitar features a pair of mini humbuckers, similar to P90s without the unwanted feedback issues. They have a great sound and definitely a different flavour to the Rickenbacker range. The one-piece neck helps give the guitar a nice and long sustain when required. The 24 Karat Gold hardware makes the guitar very exquisite with an abundance of style. This solid body guitar is a good size and relatively lightweight while the 24 frets give you an impressive range. It is all original and in very good condition. There is some playwear on the fretboard, the frets are good, and a little nick on the headstock above the bottom E tuner, a small scratch below the bridge, and a couple of marks on the very top of the headstock. Other than that, it is in amazing condition for its age. The gold hardware is still lustrous with a bit of natural aging. The case has a luxurious blue plush lining and is in full working. A fantastic addition to any Rickenbacker fan and a rare gem from 1993.
