1973 Gibson J-50 Delux

1973 Gibson J-50 Delux
1973 Gibson J-50 Deluxe in original Natural finish. The guitar was made in the Kalamazoo factory during the Norlin era when some novelties were introduced: square shoulders, open book headstock and most importantly they rejected the adjustable bridge concept. The second most important change is the reinforced double bracing in the X form. Sitka on the front panel, Honduras mahogany on the back and sides. The neck is also made of Honduras mahogany just like the fretboard and bridge. Binding is a double tortoise.  The guitar is very light and extremely resonant, killer sounding.  It had two small cracks on the top pro repaired a long time ago, but it’s almost invisible. The strings are low, and the neck is very easy to play. The guitar comes with a period-correct and non-original hard case.
