Very rare and almost mint Hofner 461 S from the 60s. This beautiful and rare archtop is one real masterpiece in crazy good condition. The guitar was made in the 50s and it is all original except the pickguard which is missing. Playability is top-notch, strings are low and it’s very easy to play. The guitar is also very light and the sound is very warm and rich. Features: Three-piece maple neck, spruce top, and mahogany body. Two seal-shaped sound holes and one oval sound hole at the end of the fingerboard. Rosewood bridge, Hofner-engraved tailpiece. Pearloid headstock design, multi-ply neck binding, distinctive Hofner inlays, and a three-ply white/black/white nut. Including vintage period correct case.
