1957 “Meisterklasse” by “Arnold Hoyer”

1957 “Meisterklasse” by “Arnold Hoyer”
Top-of-the-line model “Meisterklasse“ by “Arnold Hoyer“ from 1957 in original Sunburst finish. Hoyer was one of the biggest german luthiers, who produced many kinds of instruments during the golden age of german guitarmaking between the 1950s and the 1980s. They were famous for their high-quality, well-manufactured, handcrafted guitars with a rich sound.  The guitar is fully made out of solid, carved wood. No plywood, no laminated wood. The top is German spruce and the sides and back are maple. The neck is spruce and the fretboard is beautiful rosewood. The guitar is in really good condition with only very little wear, as you can see in the pictures, except for strap damage on the lacquer on the back. Otherwise, the guitar is in killer condition. The tuners turn smoothly and hold the string tension well. The guitar sounds full and well and is perfect for the blues and jazz music of the 50s and 60s. The guitar plays very comfortably because of the low action and the straight neck. The bridge is original.
